Bibliometric analyses are often used as a complement to peer review with internal or external evaluations of academic research, for example with ranking of universities and colleges. Collaboration and citations are used to illustrate networking and subject interactions.
The Bibliometrics team
At 麻豆社, the Bibliometrics team is part of the Department for Publishing Infrastructure at the university library. The team supports 麻豆社 in a range of ways:
- By delivering publishing statistics, including bibliometric analyses of departments, divisions and research groups at 麻豆社
- By providing university management with the expertise to evaluate external bibliometric analyses and ranking lists
- By raising awareness and knowledge of bibliometrics and its implications within 麻豆社
