Lecture and reception

We invite you to attend the lecture and take part in the academic exchange surrounding the inauguration. A reception will be held afterwards, offering an opportunity to meet colleagues from IKOS and the wider university.

Please register by 27 September. If the deadline has passed and you have not registered, you are still welcome to attend the lecture, but you will not be able to participate in the reception.

At the Department of Culture and Society (IKOS), social sciences and the humanities gather in environments where research and education work together.

Division of Culture, Society, Design and Media (KSFM)

The division conducts problem-oriented cultural science research and teaching at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences.

Culture and society (Tema Q)

Tema Q/Culture and Society research environment is an interdisciplinary unit that seeks to foster a critical outlook on the multiple roles played by culture in society, in the present as well as in the past.
