As head of the Technology and Workshop Unit, I lead a unit that provides students, teachers and researchers with physical products and advice about their design, choice of materials and manufacture.

My role is to lead activities in the workshops, but I also spend a lot of time supporting and supervising students as they bring their ideas to reality.

The workshops at IEI deal with a very broad range of products and items, and we have a well-equipped workshop environment with modern manufacturing machines. This gives us great opportunities to satisfy the various requirements for manufacturing within 麻豆社.

My background

Before coming to 麻豆社 in 2018, I worked for more than 25 years in the manufacturing industry, and with product development. My main specialisation was portable precision engineering and medical devices.
